Haiku
When I started GoPets, I knew I wanted a purplish cat. I couldn't think of any cat names so I went to 2000 Cat Names and just started clicking around. When I saw Haiku under the H's, I knew that was the name for my cat. I love haiku and love to [http://www.sunnypad.com] write it myself.
I really like the kimonos on GoPets, so I put Haiku in one right away. The Yellow Green Floral Kimono accents her coloring well.
Haiku is a very sophisticated kitty. I tried her out on the silver headphones but she never danced. But when I put the luxury wireless on her, she danced all the time. She loves wearing kimonos and dresses and I think her hair has become a permanent fixture on her head. She just doesn't look right without it.
Origami
Later I started saving for another pet. I read on the forum about themed cat names. Hmmm...I thought. I could do a Japanese cat named theme. Then I thought about the Japanese ART of Haiku. Then all the other arts started coming into mind...Ikebana, Bonsai, Sumi-e, Sumo, Origami, Kabuki, etc...the list goes on forever. I made a list of all the Japanese arts I could think of off the top of my head and realized right away that I like Bonsai and Origami for girl cat names. I also wanted one boy cat and thought Kabuki would be perfect. He's the only boy cat that can get away with wearing a kimono. :D
Origami was my second kitty. I wanted a white kitty with light stripes. She's very feminine. She's petite and shy, and likes to keep very clean. She's always cleaning her paws. She likes kimonos too but mostly anything pink and feminine. She loves her Angel Halo and wears silver headphones.
Bonsai
I'd liked someone's cat that came to my desktop. They had eyespots. I decided I wanted to do one with eyespots. Bonsai ended up coming out purplish too.
Bonsai's the tomboy. She likes boyly clothes - jeans, tees, bandanas, punk stuff. She, of course, uses the metal headphones.
Kabuki
I wanted a boy for my last kitty. He ended up getting the name Kabuki. A perfect fit for him. I wanted him to be a very striking cat, so I made him all white, with black eyespots. and a bit of black on his tail and paws only. He is a womanizer for sure, always flirting with the ladies. He feels so comfortable in his male-ness that he wears his black kimono with ease. He also likes the silver headphones.

Kabuki loves wearing armor. Armor on the left is Blood Armor. The others are the Dark Knight set. Both sets by ArcaneArkane. The purple and silver bird mask on worn with the Blood Armor on the left was designed for me by Priya.
